Simply Spring

Just incase you haven’t notice, I love WHITE! It delights me a lot when I am able to just go back to my WHITE. Just the simple white and not answerable to all the seasonal, festive colour. So, I didn’t even need to think twice about what to do for my simple spring. I don’t really care that spring has many more wonderful colour, they are nice, but what appealing to me, lasting forever, is just WHITE!

I am kinda relief when the house get to go back to simple white. Simple colour give me peace and making life more natural. 🙂

Simple life is watching TV with my husband and lil girl
Simple life is able to write my thought after a long day with a cuppa
Simple life is able to pray, praise and worship God anytime, anywhere

2013 Chinese New Year Deco

I know is late, but better than never.

If you notice, I didn’t manage to pull-off the orange theme for CNY deco, but back to the basic red and gold >.< Trust me, I really try but it looks more like a wedding with orange as their theme colour. So, after several attempt, I laugh over it and go back to red and gold. It just works, don’t you agree?

Chinese New Year is over and we were finally done with all the busy reunion and gathering stuff. Now…all I can think about is a simpler life, simpler meal, simpler deco….a time of detoxification. Stay tune for the upcoming spring deco…oh, I can’t wait!

Beside, I have a special visitor over my place tomorrow…Ps Ed Delph! So, I am kinda busy cleaning my place and preparing for my guest. Surely, God favor is with me because by what chance I will be able to sit face to face to this very anointed man of God, in my very own home, and hear his sharing. I am praising God every second I think of this…awww!

Character Matters

Many times I walk around the shopping mall looking for idea that inspire me, what captured my eyes for the past 2 years are often something vintage, something old, something faded, crafty looking and DIY. Most often, I found them through the creative blog from the other side of the earth. I found myself wishing I am nearer so I can go to the same flea market, boutique and antique hall they are sharing. But, I am way too far from for it.

Still, I couldn’t deny my desire to surround myself with those vintage find with such beautiful character. Yes, it is the character each item carries that captivate me. Maybe it is their faded shade, peeling texture, raw material, unique flavor, the mark of ages, or even the story behind…I couldn’t tell exact why but I just love them. Since when? I don’t have a clue exactly…but awww, I love them!

So, I began to put earnest action in putting up my house with beautiful vintage find. Stack of old books, frame of vintage art, vintage finds and always with a touch of green. Simple touch like this can make me happy for days as I often sit around just to admire their subtle beauty.
