Thank you for coming and helping out with my super ambitious(as usual) “The Affection Menu”. Hope you enjoy the food and the time we had together.

It is also a closing point of this important chapter call “The Big Day”.

Once again, thanks for making my “Big Day” a memorable one!

^_~ Cheers!

Life will go on

Makeup in the hotel

My elder sister, Amy

The only thing I insisted to have…the covenant with God.

Yupe, I finally received my photos. Here’s sneak preview for you. Give me more time to put them together. Ops, bare in mind, it can be months but I promise I will do it.

I am  kinda busy after the big day (before and after the big day, to be exact). Yupe, you are right…no honeymoon any soon. Instead, we drink honey lemon everyday, especially during full moon night. Ah…just kidding ^_~

I have some deadline to met at the end of October…something like 1000 pcs of designs for 2009, working with 16 different factories in China, on top of the Olympic and typoon hitting, I am grateful enough the work is on schedule after X-lions of email and instruction flying around in both Chinese and English. Sometime, it is simply hilarious to read the email and being amazed how a simple things can became so complicated.

So, yupe…we are taking our time. ^_~

If you are asking “the question”…same answer…we are taking our time. Oh, another reason is…I love the new balance release, especially the core back shoulder roll, simply sexy! So, I would prefer to go for the regular instructor options rather than the pregnancy option.

On top of that…I have leader’s retreat, mission trip filling my plate. Arrrg…life have to go on…the only different is…I have a companion now. ^_~

Cheers!

Remark: Photos taken by Camwork Photo. Jason , Joel & Wong, thank you!

The big day V | Finale

From the time I get into the bridal car…the journey to the ceremony, I start to get a little nervous. I know I am late (just like what everyone told me), the bride always late. I don’t do it intentionally, but JP definitely get so worried if anything happened to me. He’s relief the moment he heard the “hon hon” of the car upon my arrival.

The moment of walking in is great. That is the moment…I can see faces, all my relatives and close friend cheering for me…

  • those who we love and respect, always been a true inspiration for JP & I
  • those who travel from far, even when the flight got cancel but take the hassle to transit in 3 different airport to be in my wedding
  • those who extent their helping hand during the preparation and actual day making the event a memorable one
  • those who bless us and always pray for us, and wanted to be there for us and witness this special day
  • those who we hardly in touch but always supporting and wishing the best for us
  • those who cancel and change their traveling schedule to be there with us
  • those who travel from outstation (Penang, Sabah, Johor, Melaka, Singapore) the night before and early in the morning to witness the celebration
  • those who love us, close to us and wanted to share this joyous day with us
  • those who took great effort looking “lavender or green” to match the theme color
  • those who can’t make it, but call and leave us the best wishes
  • also those I suppose to invite but didn’t get to reach on time…my heart is praying that they would forgive me, and happy for me.

All these faces…pops up in a split second…truly bring smile to my face. I don’t know how I look walking down the aisle, but I am truly smiling because of all of you.

I heard…many is glad we finally tie the knot, after many years
I heard…many is touch and shed their tears
I heard…many promise themselves to walk down the aisle with their love one
I heard…the wine is too good, some got drunk drinking with a straw
I heard…I look sweet and beautiful in my wedding dress
I heard…all the wonderful greeting from people we love
I heard…the songs is sweet to the ears…”I am yours” sang by a lady

and

I saw…the sun is shining bright
I saw…the place is very romantic and cozy

I saw…the flower is fresh with sweet fragrant
I saw…the food is fine and the dessert is fabulous
I saw…many was there in lavender, green, cream and white
I saw…wedding cake is too lovely to be eaten (I know…I wish I can bring it home)
I saw…peoples smiling and sweating (a little hot?)
I saw…peoples entertaining themselves with all kind of poses and jokes
I saw…children love the fish (not the food, but the live one swimming in the pond)

and…many more… I thank you! Truly…

Thank you…for being part of our lives and our celebration.

The big day III | Captured

My dress and hand bouquet - prewedding photo

My dress and hand bouquet | Prewedding photo

This should come before 1st September…but I am simply too busy as you would imagine. I am very ambitious. But, the reality cannot be chance…eventually, I only have 24 hours a day. Many things, I wish I can do but I ended up not doing because I can’t affort it anymore. So, I can only choose what is the most important one that I can’t live without.

Is a little late…but, here you go…the last bit of the preparation for my big day…

I spend some of my early years during my teen age working in a hotel as the display artist. I have a great time there working and learning. Setting up flower was definately one of it. So, when Jon bless me with a pre-wedding shot, I decided to try my long rusty skill to compose a hand bouquet for myself. Nothing sofisicated but it does took me sometime to put them up.

The cost? RM12 only, compare with my actual hand bouquet which cost RM150.

Moving on…the photoshot.

Trust me…I am so nervous and shy, and I thank GOD I only need to do it…once and for all. I wish, I took some wine or something but Jon did such an awesome job. He was just everywhere, trying every effort to get “the super shy” couple into picture. It was certainly not easy but we truly enjoy it.

Remark: Jon, if I were to pass you my Bestman speech, one of the sentence he wrote was…”They are a very very very shy couple…”. So, can you imagine what you have done…was really once in a “purple moon” kind of thing…even more rare than a “blue moon”. You are fabulous!

By the time we almost finish, I even felt not enough and wanted more. However, it is not a good idea to be too greedy…I even “trash” my own dress in the changing room before the big day. I am upset, yet it is a blessing in the sky because I manage to send it to a good tailor to fix it, and make it to perfect suite my body. I got the dress quite early and by the time I took the photo (lucky I did), I lose quite some weight due to the preparation. So, when I am putting on the dress in the changing room, I notice my dress keep dropping…

Anyway…not going to hold you back any longer…here’s some photos I like. I have many more…do contact me in person for more. Cheers ^_~

Oh, I also need to thank my always darling Kenny for arranging the makeup and hairdo. Do I look lovely?

Remark: Kenny, it was an awesome experience. Thanks for making it happened for me. Love & hugs.

Next, will be the big day on 1st September. Stay tune!

The Perfect Match

Sometime, you will come across someone…you know you would love them (because there isn’t any reason not to). He/ she don’t need to do anything, but you know you can trust them, give them your heart, and knowing they will protect it well.

A type of person, you will praise God for having them in my life.

Yet, many times the situation doesn’t give you the opportunity to put them in focus. The next thing you know, they are leaving you. You regretted for not spending time with him/her. Then, all you can do is just to pray the best for him/ her.

I come across one, which I taken for granted, and miss out such a great opportunity to have another close buddy.

Last Saturday, she got married to her childhood sweetheart. I am blessed to be able to witness (praise God for that) their matrimony, special vow exchange (they wrote each other a personalize vow…so sweet!), and the first kiss after 3 years of courtship, on their wedding days before God…and their beloved guest ^_^.

I lost my words on her wedding day…after listening to their vow. They are so lovely and I wish I can offer a greater greetings but I didn’t. However, in my heart… I pray for God’s blessing and favor towards this newly wed couple, moving on to a new chapter of their life. I believe, they will bring even greater blessing and joy to those around them.

Not related remark: The title of this post, “The perfect match” were the same with the “not so new” Ribena Lemon ads campaign. The campaign is successful in a very wrong way (because I remember it for the wrong reason – too “Bollywood”, with the famous “The perfect match” tagline). I always wonder who they are targeting.

Anyway, the wedding I attended…is the truly something I call…“The Perfect Match”.
