It is also a closing point of this important chapter call “The Big Day”.

Life will go on

Makeup in the hotel

My elder sister, Amy

The only thing I insisted to have…the covenant with God.

Yupe, I finally received my photos. Here’s sneak preview for you. Give me more time to put them together. Ops, bare in mind, it can be months but I promise I will do it.

I am  kinda busy after the big day (before and after the big day, to be exact). Yupe, you are right…no honeymoon any soon. Instead, we drink honey lemon everyday, especially during full moon night. Ah…just kidding ^_~

I have some deadline to met at the end of October…something like 1000 pcs of designs for 2009, working with 16 different factories in China, on top of the Olympic and typoon hitting, I am grateful enough the work is on schedule after X-lions of email and instruction flying around in both Chinese and English. Sometime, it is simply hilarious to read the email and being amazed how a simple things can became so complicated.

So, yupe…we are taking our time. ^_~

If you are asking “the question”…same answer…we are taking our time. Oh, another reason is…I love the new balance release, especially the core back shoulder roll, simply sexy! So, I would prefer to go for the regular instructor options rather than the pregnancy option.

On top of that…I have leader’s retreat, mission trip filling my plate. Arrrg…life have to go on…the only different is…I have a companion now. ^_~

Cheers!

Remark: Photos taken by Camwork Photo. Jason , Joel & Wong, thank you!

The big day III | Captured

My dress and hand bouquet - prewedding photo

My dress and hand bouquet | Prewedding photo

This should come before 1st September…but I am simply too busy as you would imagine. I am very ambitious. But, the reality cannot be chance…eventually, I only have 24 hours a day. Many things, I wish I can do but I ended up not doing because I can’t affort it anymore. So, I can only choose what is the most important one that I can’t live without.

Is a little late…but, here you go…the last bit of the preparation for my big day…

I spend some of my early years during my teen age working in a hotel as the display artist. I have a great time there working and learning. Setting up flower was definately one of it. So, when Jon bless me with a pre-wedding shot, I decided to try my long rusty skill to compose a hand bouquet for myself. Nothing sofisicated but it does took me sometime to put them up.

The cost? RM12 only, compare with my actual hand bouquet which cost RM150.

Moving on…the photoshot.

Trust me…I am so nervous and shy, and I thank GOD I only need to do it…once and for all. I wish, I took some wine or something but Jon did such an awesome job. He was just everywhere, trying every effort to get “the super shy” couple into picture. It was certainly not easy but we truly enjoy it.

Remark: Jon, if I were to pass you my Bestman speech, one of the sentence he wrote was…”They are a very very very shy couple…”. So, can you imagine what you have done…was really once in a “purple moon” kind of thing…even more rare than a “blue moon”. You are fabulous!

By the time we almost finish, I even felt not enough and wanted more. However, it is not a good idea to be too greedy…I even “trash” my own dress in the changing room before the big day. I am upset, yet it is a blessing in the sky because I manage to send it to a good tailor to fix it, and make it to perfect suite my body. I got the dress quite early and by the time I took the photo (lucky I did), I lose quite some weight due to the preparation. So, when I am putting on the dress in the changing room, I notice my dress keep dropping…

Anyway…not going to hold you back any longer…here’s some photos I like. I have many more…do contact me in person for more. Cheers ^_~

Oh, I also need to thank my always darling Kenny for arranging the makeup and hairdo. Do I look lovely?

Remark: Kenny, it was an awesome experience. Thanks for making it happened for me. Love & hugs.

Next, will be the big day on 1st September. Stay tune!

The Big Day II | Seal

July 20, together with my family, I arrived at “Land below the wind”.

I introduced my family to the beauty of the land…a land they never been before.

We have an exciting and fun time. Here are the few things that happened…

  1. The Preparation – I am down with fever. Need lots of sleep…zzzZZZzzz
  2. Tea Ceremony – A session filled of laughter. I think…I am the most blessed girl who gets to do this with jean and t-shirt. ^_~
  3. Sabah Seafood – Everyone say…you must have seafood if you go Sabah. So, we have a table filled with seafood. Simply abundant.
  4. The Signing – Officially take place on July 21, 9am at the Malaysia awards winning, the most beautiful registry room. Here’s a funny conversation take place…
As I am taking over the document from JP…
“Mrs Chua, is your turn now…”
“Oh, Mrs Chua?” Immediately I pass the document to JP’s mom. Everyone in the room pauses and laughs out loud.
    “You are Mrs Chua….”
So…u should know what happen next ^_~
  5. The Dinner – Honestly, I didn’t expect this. I too have a Chinese dinner in a Chinese Restaurant and getting greeting all night long. Cheers ^_~
  6. The return – I am down with fever again due to the extreme weather in KK. 43 degree in the day and down to 16 at night.I realize I am not as strong as I taught I am.

Well, here are some photos taken in a 5 star resort. Something cheesy…yeah ^_~

This is our first set of photos taken by my elder sister, Amy. I always stand behind the camera, hardly in front…so…we look kinda awkward yeah?

Okie dokie…stay tune for my part III. I put up my flower and dress!
Lastly, the next photos is taken by my favorite photographer…Jon Low!

Cheers!

My foodiosophy

In my previous post before CNY, ambitiously I write down my wish menu for CNY…however, I only manage to do quarter of them due to many reasons. I am not going into the reasoning part, but let us focus on what I already done instead.

All Chinese cuisines… combination of old and new technique

Something different for every year… lots of cheese and cheese and cheese!!!

It is a challenging year because I am preparing meals for only 4. This also means, I have the choice of preparing small portion with many varieties (more work), or big with less variety (less work). This doesn’t end here…some meals were very appetizing in nature don’t even need other company, but the rice alone. The good example is the Jap curry. So, the thought of preparing a few more dishes have to be postpone to next, or it will all end up in the already pack fridge. This complicated the process and I ended up cutting down all the fancy thought and being realistic.

Then, by the time I complete the cooking, everyone (my mother) already anxiously waiting at the table for food. So, I don’t have much time to take photo. It is quite challenging for one to prepare, cook, take photo at the same time and aspect good result (yeah…I am justifying myself). Anyway, just bare with what you see lah! ^_~

most easy to prepare, yet the most refreshing meal of all…
