Sometime, what we miss seem to look more beautiful because we can never own it. All the fairytale end with a “happy ever after” title. The story will never continue with the daily up and down, routine and challenges the couple are facing in their actual life.

Yet, it is hard for one to resist love…you know you can never start. Many times, the consequences is too great for one to bear.

All you can say is simply…”he is late since we first met…too late”

Life is beautiful!

On top of my busy schedule, here are some things that keep me happy…

Elephant iPOD holder! The bag is in a shape of an elephant, his name is “ElmO”. I don’t usually fancy kiddy stuff but I can’t help to fall for this one. The shape and colours set me to captive. I just take out my wallet and pay for it. Excitedly, I abandon my existing bag and put my iPOD in him. Then, I put ElmO beside my pillow, companying me to sleep.

The first thing I see in the morning? Is ElmO! YEAH! What else I do? I place ElmO in front of my workstation as I am typing this post…

Chili Red coin purse! This is given to me by Anna and it looks so fabulous! Again, I abandon my existing “torn” coin purse (given to me 5 years ago by a friend from Osaka) and change to this lovely purse. Every morning, I carry this purse to the “mamak” for my regular breakfast. I’ll let the purse stand on the table and adore its beauty. I know it sound ridiculous but this is just the way I prefer to be.

A morning class! I am helping a friend to take over her morning class for 2 weeks. Initially, I am wondering if I should take it because I simply love to sleep. Crawling off my comfy bed in the morning, setting my feet on the cold cold floor is definitely a bad idea. But, I took it as a return of favor for her help. Yet, I never regret it. Although I still struggle to wake up 6am in the morning to prepare for a 7am class, but the rewards is never little. Watching the face of the participants in the graceful pose, with the glow of the natural sunlight is really a beautiful sight to begin the day.

Life is awesome with these little beauty around us…isn’t it?

A song from Josh Groban …”To where you are”. I noticed this song years ago, in a TV Series call “Ally Mcbeal”. Josh Groban was participating in one of the episode, where he sing this song…simply touching.

I don’t need a “Miracle”

“When you spoke about the launching and charity, I think if you want to involve in charity, you should…”
“I am involved in … and we do many things to help people around us by…”

“Are you coming to Miracle? For charity!
An instructor telling me after his class

To the member…I answered
“I can see your heart for the society and the community. You provide for the needy. It is very kind of you. However, not all were like you. Some don’t know where they can contribute and what to contribute. They do need events as this which lead them to contribute in the right area, meanwhile…also interest them. So, do join the event and be part of the miracle.”

To the instructor…I answered
“I don’t need a “Miracle” to do charity. Charity is in our daily life…to be a blessing to others…”

I love “Miracle” and find the event absolutely well planed, especially the charity part which encourage more people to give and help the needy. However, what I hope is the attitude of giving can continue even without “Miracle”, being a little more selfless.

Peoples are in need all year long, but we only have “Miracle” maybe once a year.

Notice when disaster came…it only captured the attention of the world for 2 weeks to a month! Then, the pages started to fill with more juicy stories. People just get back to their life just as the way it used to be.

However, some brokenness can’t be healed within such short time frame. They are left behind. 1 month is simply too short. Bandar Aceh hit by Tsunami years ago will need 10 years to recover…who is by their side now?

“I am because we are”

This is the tagline for Raising Malawi by Madonna. Indeed, we are all human with basic needs. I am who I am today because the whole society contributed, proving us the opportunity to became who we are today. We all have equal right to live, having the same 24 hours a day. If you willing, spend some of the hours to help those in need, because you are blessed to bless others.

Don’t wait for a miracle to be a blessing.

2 Wrongs 1 Right

Have you come across people or situation that make you so angry and you wonder why you need to give in? Yet, the key isn’t about giving in but making wrong right.

Yet, most of the time…when anger, bitterness, resentment kick in…all we want is to run away, avoid the responsibility or even worst if we revenge. If you would spend a little time to think about it, especially when you decided to make a decision against the natural way you would treat others, that usually the wrong decision.

1st – against your heart. You will not be happy and most likely regretted at the end of the day and wish you could do it differently. It is much easy to forgive than to hold grudge against someone (especially one that you love). Is simply painful!

2nd – you hurt them too. Is that really what you want? You hurt someone when someone hurt you? It sounds like the circle will continue. When shall this end then? To always watching your back and preparing for war all year long is a very tedious job to be in…don’t you agree?

3th – making things complicated. Probably life hasn’t been exciting enough and we just need to add some colors to it. It is a selfish act because we are involving those around us to be in the miserable situation.

I have someone, I can’t forgive for years. The wound is too deep for me to forgive. It need more than time to heal. In fact, I don’t think time can do any good. Most likely, I became numb. Yet, I know it clearly at the back of my head, I will need to…eventually, to do what is right. What someone fails to do, it’s their burden and guilt to bare. I don’t have to create another guilt and put it on my own shoulder, which eventually…doesn’t make me feel any good.

So, it is a big decision to be merciful, give and love even when is hurting. I believe, love can turn things right, wash away all the pain, renewed life. Even if it doesn’t, God know I done my part, and I am blameless to self. That will be enough.

The key…it doesn’t take 2 wrongs to get 1 right.

Her Wrong doing + My Wrong doing = More Wrong doing
Her Wrong doing + My Right doing = Reconciliation (maybe…at least I try)
